Energy. Liveliness. Movement. Three main adjectives that the client– Coach Ola– wanted her fitness brand to revolve around. It was integral to understand the client and their mission to create a successful logo used to represent her brand. Ola’s Islamic faith was a driving force in her overall brand and she wanted to incorporate that in the logo beyond the word Akhirah (the eternal home). The crescent shape of the logo was pulled from the very same symbol that represents the Islamic faith, unifying the illustrative part of her logo and the text.
I had a lot of fun working with Ola and learned more about her faith. She was extremely passionate in combining fitness and faith, which was something I honestly had never seen before. I truly love how design can bring people together and enable us to see something through another’s perspective.
